MAATA EBP Statement
In order to receive Continuing Education (CE) credit for participation in Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) sessions at the MAATA Symposium, attendees shall submit a survey/quiz for each CE opportunity by the published deadline, which is usually within a few weeks of the Annual Symposium. Within two weeks after successfully passing the quiz/survey, attendees shall receive an email with a certificate in a pdf format. If a participant fails to successfully complete a survey/quiz by the published deadline, he or she will not be eligible to claim the CEs as EBP category CEs. Instead, the CEs would be recognized by the Board of Certification, Inc. as Category A CEs. There is a $20 fee for replacement CE certificate/s. To request a replacement Category A or EBP Category CE certificate/s, the attendee must email the MAATA Treasurer (d3maatacfo@gmail.com) to obtain mailing address where a check (payable to “MAATA”) for $20 for each certificate can be mailed. After payment is confirmed, the Treasurer will notify the Educational Program Chair who will send the replacement certificate(s) to the attendee.
